After decades of trying to put up a dedicated racing facility it was from the ashes of Pinatubo in the ex US naval base that the late Pocholo Ramirez and six other icons of Philippine Motor Racing got together and revived circuit racing in the Philippines after 17 dormant years. It was the first all year round racing facility in the country and after a year it was the first international race track, giving it that old familiar name Subic International Raceway ( SIR ).

Through the years it has hosted many national and international events. Cars, motorcycles, bicycles, Go-karts, soap box derby, RC cars, drags, rally, slaloms, drift, driving schools, club events, corporate events even horse and carriage races… SIR has been warm to us and even as it come to its end, a lot of it heart felt memories we stay on in us.

Please join us on July 30,31 and August 1 in this bitter sweet celebration as we say farewell to the 17 long years of the Subic International Raceway. We have fittingly calleed this event “LAST LAP”.

Friday will be a practice day and the main festivities will start Saturday at 7:00am and will run through, till the sun set on it the next day. (Sunday 6pm).

i'm planning to go on the 30th and 31st tapos balik din baguio sa 1st for the BAF lunch outing.

tara papi punta tayo kahit picture picture lang tayo.

ay shet.. oo nga pala.. BAF outing the next day... weh!
